EMI in CMI Classroom Pilot Project

(A) Application Information

  1. -Eligible Applicants: Course instructors at colleges and universities (including full-time and part-time faculty)
  2. -Application Restrictions: Each teacher may apply for up to two courses maximum, and the applied courses must have different subject names
  3. -Application Deadline: Submit the completed application form by April 6, 2025 by clicking "Register" and uploading materials
  4. Note: Applications will no longer be accepted once the project budget is exhausted

(B) Review Principles and Subsidy Standards:

  1. -Review Principles (subsidies will be awarded based on review results; incomplete content or incorrect format will be considered as withdrawal):
  2. (1) Must be a lecture course originally taught entirely in Chinese and not receiving subsidies from other projects
  3. (2) The professional course must meet class standards (following "NCHU Course Planning and Setup Guidelines")
  4. (3) The EMI trial period must conform to this project's definition of English as Medium of Instruction and must reach one-quarter of total teaching hours
  5. -Financial Support: NT$800 incentive per session
  6. Note: Subsidy is limited to one-quarter of total teaching hours

(C) Results Submission

  1. -Submission Deadline: May 31, 2025
  2. -Written Materials: As per attachment
